Quartet Farms was born from years of family dinners filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt discussions about the horses that have touched our lives. Over many meals, we’ve found ourselves sharing stories about the incredible experiences our equine companions brought into our world. We’ve reminisced about the thrill of watching Butterscotch and Editor’s Note triumph at Pony Finals, the pride of seeing Laura and L. Alta Vida win at Capital Challenge, and the awe of Small Joy’s breathtaking performances in the International Hunter Derbies. These moments have filled our hearts with joy and pride, forming the core of our family's story.
But our journey isn’t only about the victories. We comfort each other during the tough times, like the sting of a challenging round, and worst of all, the bittersweet tears of saying goodbye to a beloved horse who had become part of our family. These experiences have taught us resilience, empathy, and the importance of cherishing every moment. They remind us that the journey, with all its highs and lows, is what truly matters.
Our mission is personal: to share the joy, love, and connection we've experienced through our own horses. It’s never easy for us to sell or lease, no matter how many times we've done it. These horses are part of our family, but we also know that they have the power to touch other lives just as profoundly. We want them to bring the same light into others' lives as they have into ours.
