LAURA OWENS
Laura has been riding since she was eight years old. As an equitation rider, she has won multiple medal finals and year-end championships on the West Coast as well as being third in the North American Equitation Finals. She has been in the top ten in the hunters at the Washington International Horse Show, Capital Challenge, Pennsylvania National Horse Show, and the National Horse Show. She placed 4th in the $100,000 Platinum Performance Hunter Prix Finals, was the top amateur National Hunter Derby rider for Zone 10, and was Best Adult Rider at the Menlo Charity Horse Show. With her mother, Jan, she co-hosts ‘Nobody Told Me!’, a self-help podcast that was named one of the top 25 “Most Downloaded New Shows in 2018” and has had more than five and a half million downloads (and 500 episodes!) since it debuted. She recently gave a TEDx talk.
JAN OWENS
Before becoming the ultimate horse show mom, Jan worked in radio as a news anchor and talk show host on KGO and KCBS, winning countless awards for her work behind the mic. Passionate about investing, horses, and family, it's no surprise that it was her idea to start Quartet Farms. Ronn Owens
Ronn is a legend in radio broadcasting, having been named one of the greatest talk show hosts of all time and the top local personality in the country by Talkers Magazine. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2015 and won the prestigious Marconi Award for Major Market Personality of the Year twice. He enjoys spending time with the horses, especially our pony, Tiffany...always spoiling her with too many carrots!
Sarah Owens
With her ten years of experience as an advertising and marketing professional, Sarah is a true asset to Quartet Farms. After graduating from the University of San Francisco with a focus on entrepreneurship, she worked in account management in San Francisco on a number of brands, including Ariat. She is currently a Group Account Director at the advertising agency Cutwater and is based primarily in New York City. She rode horses for years and loves cheering on Quartet Farms at shows on both coasts.
